Além dos selos, a simbologia maçônica está presente também
em muitas cédulas e moedas de alguns países do mundo, como nesta belíssima cunhagem de 2001 da Eslováquia. A moeda traz, no lado do valor facial de 5.000 Coroas Eslovacas, o triângulo estilizado com o Olho da Divina Providência ou Olho que Tudo Vê e, no verso, as mãos em tríade acompanhadas dos algarismos gregos Alfa e Ômega.
O ano de 2001 representa um marco temporal, excepcional na
história da humanidade. É o primeiro ano do século XXI e no primeiro ano do
terceiro milênio. O início do novo milênio é muitas vezes ligado com ideias
sobre o futuro da humanidade e uma visão de progresso em todas as áreas do
conhecimento humano. O início do milênio é também uma ocasião para a procura de
uma resposta para a questão do sentido da existência da sociedade humana e da
pessoa como indivíduo. Se a humanidade usa novos conhecimentos e possibilidades
de melhorar a qualidade de vida e no interesse do bem comum será influenciada
pela maturidade moral e capacidade de realizar a sua responsabilidade para a
vida das gerações presentes e futuras, bem como para a proteção de outras
formas de vida na Terra.
The year 2001 represents an exceptional temporal milestone in the history of
humanity. It is the first year of the twenty first century and the first year
of the third millennium. The beginning of the new millennium is often connected
with ideas about the future of humanity and a vision of progress in all areas
of human knowledge. The beginning of the millennium is also an occasion for
seeking an answer to the question of the meaning of the existence of human
society and the person as an individual. Whether humanity uses new knowledge
and possibilities to improve the quality of life and in the interest of the
common good will be influenced by its moral maturity and ability to realize its
responsibility for the life of the present and future generations, as well as
for the protection of other forms of life on the Earth.
